Our store is powered by Shopify. However, all purchases made on this store are transactions directly between you and Gus & Co.

Shopify is not responsible for any transactions, products, or services sold through our store.

SECTION 25: PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of the transaction, delivery confirmation, and acceptance of these Terms.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in the suspension of future purchases and may be reported to payment processors and fraud prevention networks.

SECTION 26: PRODUCT USE AND PET SAFETY

Our harnesses, tethers, and related products are pet travel accessories designed to help keep your dog secured in the vehicle seat. They are not a substitute for attentive supervision and safe driving, and they do not guarantee prevention of injury in every situation, including vehicle accidents.

To use our products safely, you agree to:

  • Follow all included instructions and our size guide
  • Ensure the harness fits your dog correctly and the tether length is set so your dog cannot exit the vehicle through an open window
  • Attach the tether to the harness only, never to a collar
  • Inspect the harness, tether, buckle, and stitching before each use, and stop using the product if any part appears worn, chewed, or damaged
  • Never leave your dog unattended in a vehicle while tethered

You are responsible for supervising your pet and for complying with all local laws regarding pet transport and safe driving.

Gus & Co shall not be responsible for misuse of products, improper fit or installation, use of damaged products, or damages arising from use contrary to our instructions, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

SECTION 27: DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND FRAUD PREVENTION

Gus & Co takes fraud prevention seriously. By placing an order through our store, you agree that delivery confirmation provided by the shipping carrier shall constitute proof of delivery.

Orders shipped with carrier tracking that shows “delivered” status to the shipping address provided at checkout will be considered successfully delivered.

Gus & Co is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery by the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. Orders shipped to an address provided by the customer that are confirmed delivered by the carrier will not be eligible for replacement or refund.

If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, customers should first contact the shipping carrier and local postal service to investigate the delivery before contacting us.

Gus & Co reserves the right to refuse refunds or replacements in cases where delivery confirmation shows the order was successfully delivered.

Fraudulent claims of non-delivery may be reported to payment processors, fraud prevention databases, and law enforcement where appropriate.
